This policy describes how the Frizz Wiz mobile app handles information. It is provided for transparency and for store listings (e.g. Apple App Store). This is not legal advice; have counsel review if you need a binding policy for your jurisdiction.

Summary

Frizz Wiz is a local weather-based hair outlook app. We do not operate sign-in or user accounts inside the app. Weather is requested from OpenWeather using location or place information you provide or allow on your device.

Information the app uses

• Location (optional): If you grant when-in-use location permission, the app uses your coordinates on the device to request a weather forecast. You can deny permission and instead enter a ZIP code, city name, or coordinates flow supported by the app.
• Place / weather inputs: Text or coordinates you enter are used only to fetch weather and build the on-screen forecast. We do not operate our own backend in the app to store those inputs on servers we control.

Third-party services

• OpenWeather (OpenWeatherMap): Forecast requests are sent from the app to OpenWeather’s APIs (including approximate or precise coordinates or place names as required by their API). OpenWeather’s handling of data is governed by their policies: openweather.co.uk/privacy-policy (verify the current URL on their site).

Analytics, ads, and tracking

The app is not built around third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs in the shipped product as of this writing. If that changes in a future version, this policy should be updated and the App Store Privacy Nutrition Labels updated to match.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing. If you believe a child has provided information in a way that concerns you, contact us through the website below.

Security & retention

Weather responses are processed on your device for display. Practice good device security (passcode, OS updates). We do not control OpenWeather’s retention of API request metadata; see their policy.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised when we do.
